Is Ponazuril for rabbits the same as the version my vet dispenses?

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate inspects every approved online pharmacy on the same cycle as a practice dispensary.
When will live Ponazuril pricing be available on Vet Bill Saver?
Rabbit medication pricing rolls out through summer 2026 (D2). Sign up on this page and we will email you the moment Ponazuril pricing goes live at any of the six VMD-approved UK online pharmacies.
Do I need a prescription to order Ponazuril for rabbits?
Yes. Ponazuril is a POM-V product and requires a written prescription from a UK-registered vet. From 23 September 2026 the CMA Order caps the prescription fee at £21 for the first medicine plus £12.50 per additional medicine on the same prescription.
